Ideas entered on http://Ideas.SDAppsChallenge.com are not considered submissions to the AT&T San Diego Apps Challenge and are not eligible for prizes.
Instructions:
- Visit Ideas.SDAppsChallenge.com and click “Sign Up” to create a ChallengePost account or click “Log In” and log in with an existing ChallengePost account.
- After you sign up, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address you provided. Use the confirmation email to verify your email address. Once registered, you will then be able to enter an idea.
- Answer the following question in 140 characters or less, “I want a San Diego app that_________.” (the “Idea”)
- You can suggest Ideas between January 11, 2012 at 6:00 PM Pacific Time and February 10, 2012, at 5:00 PM PT.
Requirements:
- You may submit more than one Idea but duplicates will be removed from the site.
- Ideas must not be indecent, defamatory, in obvious bad taste, demonstrate a lack of respect for public morals or conduct or adversely affect the reputation of the City of San Diego, ChallengePost, or any of the Sponsors.
- Additionally, Ideas will not be accepted if they: (1) are illegal under applicable law; (2) depict hatred; (3) defame or denigrate (or are derogatory towards) any person or group of persons or any race, ethnic group or culture; (4) threaten a specific community in society, including any specific race, ethnic group or culture; (5) are intended to or might incite violence; (6) contain vulgar or obscene language or excessive violence; or (7) contain pornography, obscenity or sexual activity.
Rights to Ideas:
By entering an Idea or comment on http://Ideas.SDAppsChallenge.com you agree that others may use or develop your idea without compensation, including without limitation, the City of San Diego and ChallengePost, Inc., who will maintain a royalty free license to, without limitation: (1) Post the Idea on Ideas.SDAppsChallenge.com; (2) Develop software applications premised on the Idea; and (3) Utilize the Idea for noncommercial purposes after the conclusion of the submission period.
Display of Ideas:
Ideas will be posted on Ideas.SDAppsChallenge.com a rolling basis after being entered. Ideas that violate a requirement may be taken down even after being posted to Ideas.SDAppsChallenge.com. Ideas submitted in languages other than English may be subject to delayed posting, or depending on the language, may not be displayed if the City of San Diego and ChallengePost are unable to determine whether an Idea meets the Requirements.
Voting & Comments
- Registration is required in order to vote or comment on Ideas.
- Registered visitors will be able to vote for and post comments on Ideas. The public voting and comments will take place between January 11, 2012 at 10:00 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) and February 10, 2012 at 5:00 PM ET.
- Comments shall not disparage an Idea or be otherwise inappropriate, as determined by the City of San Diego and ChallengePost in their sole direction. Any such disparaging or inappropriate comments will be removed and all other comments made by the individual that posts such comments may also be removed.
Privacy
The City of San Diego and ChallengePost collect personal information from you when you register on the site. The information collected is subject to the privacy policy located at http://challengepost.com/privacy.
